BPEX Server 2010

The BPEX server is the core piece and the control center. It monitors and records the entire business process. Using the Workflow, the BPEX server controls delays, starts operations at a particular time, or reacts to errors. The BPEX server interacts with the engines, which can be flexibly distributed on the network. The engines are implemented as open Web Services that ensure maximum distribution and integration into operating systems and networks.
The BPEX solution is BPEX GmbH’s own software that integrates into existing system environments in order to facilitate, track and automate many complex and costly special tasks that are frequently entrusted to IT service providers.
BPEX Portal 2010
The BPEX portal is not only front-end for the BPEX server, but also the configuration interface for the engines.
With the help of process designer, you will be able to flexibly create all kinds of processes using actions provided by the BPEX engines.
The BPEX portal can also be used as an order interface for services you are offering to your employees. Authorization processes may also be controlled by the portal, regardless of whether they are budget driven or require management approval. Furthermore, the BPEX portal shows the status of the workflow engine, as well as comprehensive status information for the operations.
The AD authentication allows for a very easy integration in your existing AD. For those without AD, an LDAP authentication is provided and a separate user management has been integrated into the portal. The concept for your employees can easily be mapped using its various aspects.
